Richard Blair

Executive Chairman Richard Blair has held senior finance and accounting roles in public companies associated with the resource sector for over 25 years including Executive General Manager Finance of Pasminco Limited from 1988 to 1995; Chief Financial Officer of Eltin Limited from 1997 to May 1999 and Chief Financial Officer of Macmahon Holdings Limited from 2000 to 2006. Richard is a CPA and Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Rick became Chairman of Nomad Building Solutions Ltd in October 2008 and Executive Chairman in January 2010.

 

Alan Thomas

Executive Director, CEO Rapley Wilkinson Alan Thomas is a registered builder with 30 years experience in construction and property development.

 

 

 

Peter Slaughter

Non-Executive Director Mr Peter Slaughter is an engineer with over 40 years experience in the Australian and international resource and related manufacturing sectors. He has held a range of senior management and director level positions domestically and overseas.  Since 1995 Mr Slaughter has undertaken advisory work and held a number of non-executive director roles. Mr Slaughter was a non-executive director and chairman of Child Care Centres Australia until he resigned in December 2004 following a merger with ABC Learning Centres. He was President and Chairman of the Australian Institute of Management (Qld & NT) from 2002 to 2004 and is a Fellow and Honorary Life Member. Mr Slaughter is currently a non executive director of India Gold Limited.  Mr Slaughter is Chairman of the remuneration and nomination committee and a member of the audit and risk management committee. 

 

Peter Abery

Non-Executive Director Mr Abery has a Bachelor and a Masters degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering) and a Masters of Business Administration. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology  and a graduate of the Harvard Business School's International Senior Managers Program. Mr Abery has experience in senior management roles including CEO and Managing Director of such companies as HPM Industries, Crown Castle UK/National Grid Wireless, Crown Castle Australia, Vodafone Network, Telstra  and QPSX Communications. Current Directorships include Norfolk Group Limited, pieNetworks Limited and Salter Australia Holdings. He is also a director of the Ear Science Institute of Australia.

  Wayne McGrath

CEO McGrath Homes Wayne has 27 years experience with McGrath Homes including the last 15 as Managing Director. Under Wayne’s leadership, McGrath Homes has established itself at the forefront of the construction of transportable homes to a permanent standard in Western Australia, and increasing the turnover of McGrath Homes from $1.5 million in 1991 to $27 million in 2006. In 1993, Wayne introduced the ‘Norfolk Homes’ branded one and two-storey product range. Since this time the McGrath Homes business has consistently been in the top 20 volume builders in Western Australia. Wayne has held a registered builders licence since 1995 and has extensive experience across all areas of the building industry.

 

Brian Praetz

CEO Nomad Modular Building Brian has extensive senior management experience within a number of industries as diverse as computer and telecommunications, plant and equipment, manufacturing and fabrication, logistics, and drilling. Prior to joining Nomad Modular, Brian was Chief Operating Officer for Boom Logistics and COO for Swick Mining Services (Australia). In these roles he was responsible for hundreds of staff at multiple locations across the country. Brian is particularly adept at refocussing manufacturing and industrial businesses to become customer-oriented businesses. This attribute combined with his track record for improved safety management, industrial relations, and organisational efficiencies equip him well to lead Nomad Modular to even greater success. Brian holds a Bachelor of Business Degree from Edith Cowan University and is currently pursuing a Masters of Commerce.

 

 

Paul Depiazzi

Chief Financial Officer & Company Secretary Paul is a highly accomplished and vastly experienced industry sector CFO who, over the past 20 years, has worked for public companies including Integrated Tree Cropping (ASX 300), Bristile (ASX 200) and Futuris Corporation (ASX 100). He has had significant exposure to the building products industry at a senior executive level.
